ArcelorMittal Poland, a subsidiary of Luxembourg-headquartered global steel producer ArcelorMittal, has announced that it will invest more than PLN 30 million ($7.46 million) to modernize the dust removal system of the argon station at its Dąbrowa Górnicza steel plant.

Accordingly, the investment will allow the company to reduce its impact on the environment and to increase the efficiency of its steel plant. Argonization improves the surface quality and structure of steel, increases its strength and thus the strength of the final product.

The modernization works are expected to be completed within this year.
