Argentina files complaint at WTO against US OCTG AD duties

Monday, 29 May 2023 11:25:27 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has announced that Argentina has requested dispute consultations with the US regarding the US antidumping duties on imports of OCTG from Argentina. The request was circulated to WTO members on May 25.

Accordingly, Argentina claims the duties in question appear to be inconsistent with a number of provisions under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) 1994 and the Antidumping Agreement. This is the third WTO dispute brought by Argentina relating to US antidumping measures on OCTG.

The US imposed definitive antidumping duties on imports of OCTG from Argentina in 2022 at 78.30 percent.
