Argentinian crude steel production declines in July

Argentinian crude steel production in July fell 9.6 percent, year-on-year, and 3 percent, month-on-month, to 431,000 mt, according to information released by the nation’s steel chamber, CAA.

According to CAA figures, hot rolled finished steel production in July reached 406,900 mt, 3.7 percent down, year-on-year, but 4.8 percent up, month-on-month. Meanwhile, cold rolled flat steel output in the period totaled 129,200 mt, 8.2 percent up, year-on-year, and 0.3 percent, month-on-month.

CAA said accumulated crude steel production in the January-July period reached 2.8 million mt, 9.7 percent down, year-on-year.
