Australian coal miner Bowen Coking Coal Ltd has announced that it has produced its first run-of-mine (ROM) coal at Plumtree North at its Burton mine complex ahead of schedule.

The company stated that the first production was originally scheduled for the third quarter of the financial year 2025-26. However, with due diligence, it has managed to provide the first coal from the mine at an earlier date. Also, Plumtree North is expected to provide coal to the Burton complex over the next five years.
