Australia’s Fenix Resources completes feasibility study for new iron ore mine

Australia-based iron ore miner Fenix Resources Limited has announced that it has completed a feasibility study for a new iron ore mine at the BeebynW11 deposit located in Western Australia. The feasibility study reveals a high‐grade, high-quality project with first production expected in early 2025 and an annual production capacity of 1.5 million dry mt.

In addition, Fenix Resources has published its quarterly report for the three months ending June 30 this year. In the given quarter, the company produced approximately 347,100 wmt of iron ore, down by 21.9 percent compared to the previous quarter. The company shipped 401,000 wmt of iron ore during the given quarter, up by 12.3 percent compared to the March quarter.
