The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced the final determination of its antidumping (AD) duty investigation against rebar from Bulgaria, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The determined dumping margins are at 15.9 percent for Bulgaria’s Promet Steel JSC, 6.2 percent for Thailand-based Tata Steel Manufacturing (Thailand) Public Company Limited and 4.2 percent for the UAE-based Conares Metal Supply Limited. The agency has terminated the investigation on rebar from Thailand-based Thai Steel Profile Public Company Limited, as the goods were not dumped.

The preliminary dumping margins were at 18.1 percent for Bulgaria, two percent and 6.9 percent for Thailand and 0.4 percent for the UAE, as SteelOrbis previously reported.
