China’s coal imports decrease by 0.9 percent in January-March

In the January-March period this year, China’s coal imports amounted to 114.846 million mt, declining by 0.9 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.

In March alone, China’s coal imports reached 38.732 million mt, down 6.4 percent year on year, while up 12.7 percent month on month.
