China's coal imports increase by 11.9 percent in January-September

In September this year, China’s coal imports amounted to 47.588 million mt, up 3.8 percent month on month and increasing by 12.9 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by China's General Administration of Customs (GACC). 

In the January-September period this year, China’s iron ore imports totaled 389.128 million mt, up 11.9 percent year on year.
