China’s coke output increases by 2.4 percent in Q1

In the January-March period this year, China’s metallurgical coke output amounted to 123.27 million mt, up 2.4 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). 

In the first three months this year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 1.2026 billion mt, increasing by 8.1 percent year on year.

In March alone, China’s outputs of coke and raw coal totaled 41.29 million mt and 440.58 million mt, decreasing by 4.1 percent and 9.6 percent year on year, respectively.
