China’s FAI in transportation down 5.66 percent in January-February

Total fixed asset investments (FAI) in transportation in China in the January-February period this year amounted to RMB 366.5 billion ($51.1 billion), down 5.66 percent year on year, as announced by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT). 

In particular, the FAI in the construction of roads and waterways in China in the given period amounted to RMB 254.0 billion ($35.4 billion) and RMB 27.8 billion ($3.9 billion), down 7.2 percent and up 1.7 percent year on year, respectively.
