China's iron ore imports decrease by 5.2 percent in January-May

In the January-May period this year, China’s iron ore imports amounted to 486.409 million mt, down 5.2 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by China's General Administration of Customs (GACC).

In May alone, China’s iron ore imports totaled 98.131 million mt, down 3.8 percent year on year, while declining by 4.9 percent month on month.
