Stocks of main finished steel products in China up 1.7% in mid-Jan

On January 20 this year, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in 21 major cities in China totaled 6.74 million mt, up 110,000 mt or 1.7 percent compared to January 10, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

In particular, as of January 20, domestic inventories of HRC, CRC, wire rod and rebar increased by 1.8 percent, 2.2 percent, 1.9 percent and 2.0 percent, respectively, while domestic inventories of medium steel plate remained stable, all compared to January 10.
