CISA: China’s average daily crude steel output down slightly in late Sept

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has stated that in late September (Sept. 21-30) this year the average aggregate daily output of crude steel by large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.509 million mt, down 0.9 percent compared to mid-September (Sept. 11-20). In late September, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 1,842,800 mt, indicating a slight decrease of 0.74 percent compared with mid-September.
 
According to previous CISA data, in mid-September this year the average aggregate daily output of crude steel by large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1,522,700 mt, down 2.73 percent compared to early September. In mid-September, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 1,856,500 mt, indicating a decrease of 2.01 percent compared with early September.
