CISA mills’ daily steel output down 0.8% in late June, inventory down 10.54%

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that in late June (June 21-30) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 2.1676 million mt, down 0.80 percent compared to mid-June (June 11-20) this year.

In mid-June, the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had totaled 2.1851 million mt, down 2.81 percent compared to early June (June 1-10) this year.

Inventory levels of the large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China increased. As of June 30, the finished steel inventories of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China amounted to 14.6943 million mt, decreasing by 1.7315 million mt or 10.54 percent compared to June 20.
