Congo-based iron ore producer Zanaga Iron Ore Company (ZIOC) has joined forces with global industrial ecosystem developer Arise Integrated Industrial Platforms Limited (Arise) to develop the port infrastructure for its Zanaga iron ore project.

Within the scope of the agreement, ZIOC and Arise will construct the necessary facilities for handling activities, along with other onshore and offshore infrastructure such as jetty and ship loaders.

Considered to be one of the world’s largest iron ore reserves, the Zanaga project is planned to be developed in stages, ultimately reaching its planned production of 30 million mt per year.
