CPCA: China’s passenger vehicle retail sales up 9% in July 1-7

Passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 274,000 units in the June 1-7 period this year, up 9.0 percent year on year, while increasing 6.0 percent month on month, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

In the current year up to July 7, passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 10.114 million units, up 3.0 percent year on year.

In the July 1-7 period, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales totaled 130,000 units, up 7.0 percent year on year, while increasing by 3.0 percent month on month.

In the current year up to July 7, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 4.243 million units, up 33.0 percent year on year.
