Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that it will install a new bar finishing line at Italy-based long steel producer Pittini Group’s Acciaierie di Verona plant. The new line is scheduled to be commissioned at the end of 2025.

The new line will allow Pittini to add bars ranging from 8 mm to 36 mm in diameter and with lengths from 6 mm to 18 mm to its product portfolio. In addition, an original Danieli Direct Rolling Bundling station will directly deliver the finished bars into the cooling area, optimizing time and space. These adjustments will allow Pittini to improve its competitiveness in Europe.
