Australia-based Fenix Resources Limited has published its quarterly report for the three months ending December 31, 2024. In the given quarter, the company produced approximately 324,500 wmt of iron ore from its Iron Ridge mine, down by 30.2 percent compared to the previous quarter.
The company shipped 352,792 wmt of iron ore from its Iron Ridge Project in Western Australia during the given quarter, up by 1.9 percent compared to the September quarter. Six shipments, consisting of 155,425 wmt of lumps and 197,367 wmt of fines, were sold during the December quarter.
In the given quarter, the company’s newly acquired Shine project started iron ore production and shipments, with 317,000 wmt of iron ore production and 240,788 wmt of shipments, bringing the company’s total volumes to 641,500 wmt and 593,580 wmt, up 37.9 percent and 71.6 percent quarter on quarter, respectively.
The average grade shipped in the December quarter was 64.9 percent Fe for fines and 65.9 percent Fe for lump products, compared to 64.1 percent Fe and 63.2 percent Fe in the previous quarter, respectively.
