France’s steel product export value down 8.5 percent in January-September

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-September period this year France’s basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €7.42 billion, decreasing by 8.5 percent year on year.

In the given period, France exported €975.6 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 5.1 percent, €328.2 million of cold rolled steel bars - down by 24.4 percent, €553.5 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 10.4 percent, €255.6 million of cold drawn wire - decreasing by 3.1 percent, and €671.4 million of metal structures and parts - down 0.4 percent, all compared to the same period of 2023.
