Goa government announces winning bids for e-auction of idle iron ore dumps

The government of coastal Indian state of Goa has announced successful bidders at e-auction of idle iron ore dumps held on October 3, government sources said on Friday, December 27.

In a notification issued on Friday, the state government said that the entire volume of 756,518 mt of iron ore fines, lumps, tailing and run-of-mine (ROM) at idle dumps lying at various locations in the state had been successfully sold to winning bidders.

The e-auction was conducted by government-run MSTC Corporation Limited with bidders restricted to either actual end-users or exporters.

The winning bidders are Blue Globe Exports Private Limited, Sea Metals Exports Private Limited (two lots) and Kai International Limited (two lots).
