Hebei Steel Group inks agreement with AERI

The Iron and Steel Technology Research Institute of Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co. (Hebei Steel Group), has inked an agreement with state-owned company the Automotive Engineering Research Institute (AERI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC), according to local media sources in Hebei.

Accordingly, the two sides will establish a joint laboratory focusing on application and research regarding materials for the automotive sector.
