India’s Fedder Holding to build iron ore beneficiation plant in Odisha

India’s Fedder Holding Limited will set up a 1.5 million mt per year capacity iron beneficiation plant in the eastern Indian state of Odisha, a company statement said on Monday, July 22.

The project will be implemented through its wholly-owned subsidiary Fedders Electric and Engineering Limited for which 60 acres of land has been acquired in Odisha, the company said.

However, no information is available regarding the investment in the project.

The plant is scheduled to go into production by March 2025.

The company is presently engaged in iron ore mining and operates a steel mill for production of rebars.
