MOC: Average steel prices in China edge down in April 14-20

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the April 14-20 period this year the average finished steel prices in China saw slight declines.

In the given period, the average prices of high-speed wire rod, hot rolled steel strip and rebar all decreased by 0.2 percent, week on week.                  

In the same period, the average prices of coking coal, smoke-free lump coal and thermal coal decreased by 3.1 percent, 1.1 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, week on week.
