New motor vehicle registrations in Turkey down 9.8 percent in November from October

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November this year new motor vehicle registrations in Turkey decreased by 9.8 percent month on month and increased by 3.7 percent year on year to 188,966 units.

New passenger car registrations in November totaled 84,846 units, up by 13.7 percent as compared to October and down by 1.3 percent year on year. Passenger cars accounted for 44.9 percent of total new motor vehicle registrations in the given month.

On the other hand, new small truck registrations in November amounted to 19,502 units, increasing by 14.1 percent month on month and by 18.7 percent year on year. Small truck registrations constituted 10.3 percent of total new registrations in the given month.
