Spanish crude steel output down 13 percent in January

In the first month of the current year, Spain's crude steel output amounted to 1.2 million mt, down 13 percent year on year. In December, Spain had also seen a double-digit year-on-year decline in its crude steel output.

In the 12 months up to the end of January, crude steel output in Spain totaled 15.3 million mt. All figures are provided by the Spanish steelmakers association Unesid.
