Turkish steelmaker Yıldız Demir Çelik’s capacity utilization rate increased to 80 percent in 2024, while its exports accounted for 42 percent of its production, according to media reports. The company’s second galvanizing line, which started production in 2023, has positively affected its performance. A similar performance is expected in 2025.

Meanwhile, speaking about the new administration in the US, Hakkı Yıldız, board member of Turkey-based Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding, parent company of the steelmaker, stated that Donald Trump’s positive attitude towards Turkey will create an advantage for both the country and the company.
