Turkey’s welded pipe exports up 7.9 percent in January-November

In November last year, Turkey’s welded pipe exports amounted to 170,002 metric tons, up by 9.7 percent compared to October and by 9.4 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $144.49 million, increasing by 4.2 percent compared to the previous month and down by 14.8 percent year on year.

In the January-November period, Turkey's welded pipe exports amounted to 1,868,294 mt, up 7.9 percent, while the value of these exports decreased by 2.3 percent to $1.72 billion, both year on year.

In the given period, Turkey’s largest welded pipe export destination was Romania which received 328,425 mt, up 28.7 percent year on year. Romania was followed by the United Kingdom with 160,424 mt and Iraq with 148,408 mt.
