US-based clean iron company Electra has joined forces with Germany-based steel distributor INTERFER Edelstahl Group to produce low-carbon iron.

Accordingly, both companies will work on sustainable solutions to produce low-carbon iron to meet the growing demand for green steel and on combining Electra’s ironmaking technology and INTERFER’s network.

Also, with access to Electra’s clean and high-purity iron, INTERFER will not only help its customers to reach their decarbonization goals but also cut its emissions by 42 percent by 2030.
