US CRC exports up 15.7 percent in October from September

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of cold rolled coils totaled 86,420 mt in October this year, up 15.7 percent month on month and up 27.7 percent year on year. By value, CRC exports totaled $103.2 million in October, compared to $86.4 million in the previous month and $77.3 million in the same month last year.

The US shipped the most CRC to Mexico in October with 67,154 mt, compared to 58,159 mt in September and 43,756 mt in October last year. The other top destination was Canada with 18,528 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US CRC exports in October.
