US CRC imports down 11.6 percent in November from October

According to preliminary census data from the US Department of Commerce, US imports of cold rolled coil totaled 107,626 mt in November last year, down 11.6 percent month on month and up 20.5 percent year on year. By value, CRC imports totaled $107.4 million in November last year, compared to $122.6 million in October and $95.5 million in November 2023.

The US imported the most CRC from Canada in November with 34,891 mt. Other top sources of imported CRC in November include Vietnam with 28,435 mt, Sweden with 12,395 mt, the Netherlands with 5,988 mt, and the United Kingdom with 5,224 mt.
