US DOC initiates administrative reviews of certain steel pipe and nails

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Wednesday the initiation of administrative reviews of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with an August anniversary date. 

The DOC initiated the following administrative reviews of AD orders involving steel products:

(1)  Small Diameter Carbon and Alloy Seamless Standard, Line, and Pressure Pipe from Germany (A-428-820) - Benteler Stahl/Rohr GmbH; ESW Roehrenwerke GmbH; Vallourec & Mannesmann Tubes-V & M Deutschland GmbH; Voestalpine AG; Voestalpine Tubulars GmbH & Co. KG; and Voestalpine Rotec GmbH & Co. KG.

(2)  Light-Walled Rectangular Pipe and Tube from Mexico (A-201-836) - Maquilacero S.A. de C.V.; and Regiomontana de Perfiles y Tubos S.A. de C.V.

(3)  Steel Nails from China (A-570-909) - more than 200 companies.

The period of review is August 1, 2012 through July 31, 2013.

The DOC did not initiate any administrative reviews of CVD orders involving steel products.
