US exports of plates in coil down 17.8 percent in November from October

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of plates in coil totaled 29,631 mt in November last year, down 17.8 percent month on month and up 5.5 percent year on year. By value, exports of plates in coil totaled $29.6 million in November, compared to $35.1 million in the previous month and $28.4 million the same month in 2023.

The US shipped the most plates in coil to Mexico in November with 20,854 mt, compared to 26,801 mt in October and 18,744 mt in November 2023. The other top destination was Canada with 8,360 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) US exports of plates in coil in November.
