US rebar exports up 5.5 percent in November from October

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of rebar totaled 18,709 mt in November last year, up 5.5 percent month on month and down 11.5 percent year on year. By value, rebar exports totaled $14.9 million in November, compared to $14.2 million in the previous month and $16.3 million in the same month of 2023.

The US shipped the most rebar to Canada in November with 14,215 mt, compared to 15,275 mt in October and 18,255 mt in November 2023. Canada is followed by the Dominican Republic with 3,016 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US rebar exports in November.
