US standard pipe imports up 5.8 percent in November from October

According to final census data from the US Department of Commerce, US imports of standard pipe totaled 65,446 mt in November last year, up 5.8 percent from October and up 18.3 percent year on year. By value, standard pipe imports totaled $73.9 million in November, compared to $71.6 million in October and $64.1 million in November 2023.

The US imported the most standard pipe from Canada in November with 12,853 mt, compared to 13,522 mt in October and 13,064 mt in November 2023. Other top sources of imported standard pipe in November include the UAE with 9,737 mt, Vietnam with 7,893 mt, South Korea with 6,300 mt, and Mexico with 5,726 mt.
