Vietnam’s steel imports down 39.4 percent in November from October

In November this year, Vietnam’s steel imports amounted to 1,462,514 mt, down 39.4 percent compared to October, while its scrap imports grew by 29.7 percent month on month to 448,937 mt, according to the data published by Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

In the first 11 months of the year, Vietnam’s steel imports increased by 32.9 percent year on year to 16.16 million mt, while its scrap import shipments amounted to 4.33 million mt in the given period, up by 11.9 percent year on year.
