CRC import price offers decline in Brazil

CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $765/mt, CFR conditions, against $775/mt two weeks ago, according to sources.

In June, Brazil exported 700 mt and imported 5,600 mt of CRC, against respectively 33,200 mt and 32,000 mt in May.

Exports of CRC from Brazil are expected to increase in July, as a significant volume was reportedly postponed from June to July.

In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades remains offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 6,200/mt ($1,095/mt), stable in BRL from two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
