CRC import price offers stable in Brazil

CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $690/mt, CFR conditions, stable from two weeks ago according to sources.

In August, Brazil exported 7,600 mt and imported 65,000 mt of CRC against 3,500 mt and 47,100 mt in July.

The exports of August were destined to the US (6,200 mt at $860/mt) and to South American countries (1,400 mt at $1,100/mt), FOB conditions.

The imports were from China (63,100 mt at $627/mt), Sweden (1,600 mt at $1,038/mt), and South Korea (300 mt at $915/mt), also FOB conditions.

In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 5,900/mt ($1,048/mt), also stable in BRL from two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
