Over the past week, demand for import hot rolled coil (HRC) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has continued to be weak and bookings have remained slack. In the given period, HRC offers to the UAE from a Russian producer stood at $585-590/mt CFR, while HRC offers from Ukraine were at $590/mt CFR. Accordingly, ex-CIS HRC offers to the UAE increased by $10/mt compared to a week ago. Meanwhile, ex-India HRC offers to the UAE are at $600/mt CFR Abu Dhabi, while Chinese HRC offers to the country are the highest, standing at $610/mt CFR.
