SteelOrbis has been informed that demand for import plate in the Turkish market has remained slack over the past month, while Turkish buyers are still putting pressure on import plate offers.
According to market sources, Macedonian hot rolled plate offers to Turkey have declined by $20/mt over the past month to the range of $530-540/mt CFR, for January shipment.
On the other hand, Ukrainian shipbuilding plate offers to Turkey have also decreased by $25/mt over the same period to $325-335/mt CFR, for February shipment.
