Demand for Greek rebar in export markets remains weak

During the past week, no bookings of Greek rebar have been heard in the export markets, while Greek rebar producers have been active in their domestic market. Market sources stated that some Greek rebar producers will carry out maintenance works during December and so Greek domestic rebar demand will likely pick up towards the end of this month.

In the given week, rebar export offers from Greece have remained stable week on week at €500-510/mt ($565-576/mt) FOB.
