Indian government-run steel producer Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has floated two export tenders. One is for 15,000 mt of prime 90 mm steel billets for shipment by January 10, 2024, company sources said. Another one is for 5,000 mt of prime non-alloy steel wire rod for the same shipment date.

The company has fixed the deadline for submission of bids for November 24, for a minimum bid volume of 2,000 mt for billets and 500 mt for wire rod.

The delivery will be executed against irrevocable without recourse international letter of credit, the sources said.

In the previous billet tenders for 150 mm billets, the company had targeted $510-515/mt FOB.
