SteelOrbis has been informed that today, October 23, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has decreased its rebar price by another TRY 250/mt ($7/mt) to TRY 26,000/mt ($632/mt) ex-works, as compared to the previous day, for an extended delivery period. The producer has also cut its wire rod price, by $5/mt to $625/mt ex-works, also for an extended delivery period. The main reason for the price cuts is sluggish demand. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 34.27 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
