Iskenderun-based Turkish mill cuts its longs prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, November 6, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has cut its rebar price by TRY 500/mt ($10/mt) to TRY 25,500/mt ($621/mt) ex-works, as compared to yesterday, for an extended delivery period. In addition, the producer has cut its wire rod price by $5/mt to $620/mt ex-works, also for an extended delivery period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 34.23 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.

Yesterday, the mill had reduced its rebar price by TRY 500/mt ($14/mt) to TRY 26,000/mt ($631/mt) ex-works, compared to Thursday, October 31, at an exchange rate of $1 = TRY 34.35, while keeping its wire rod stable at $625/mt ex-works over the same period.
