Iskenderun-based Turkish mill hikes its longs prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, July 9, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has hiked its rebar price in the local currency by TRY 200/mt, while raising its price on US dollar basis by $1/mt,  to TRY 24,000/mt ($610/mt) ex-works for an extended delivery period, as compared to Thursday, July 4, against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations. The mill had also increased its wire rod price for an extended delivery period by $10/mt to $620/mt ex-works yesterday. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 32.80 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
