Iskenderun-based Turkish mill hikes its merchant bar prices

An Iskenderun-based Turkish mill increased its equal angle (30-100 mm) price by TRY 250/mt($8/mt) to TRY 21,500/mt ($628/mt) ex-works today, October 7, compared to Friday, October 4, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and costlier scrap prices.

A few re-rollers are also offering their HEA/HEB (550-700 mm, standard) at TRY 28,050/mt ($819/mt), stable both in the local currency and on US dollar basis, over the same period, for delivery to the Karabuk region.
