Iskenderun-based Turkish mill hikes its rebar price

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the afternoon of today, June 24, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has increased its rebar price in the local currency by TRY 250/mt, reducing its price on US dollar basis by $2/mt,  to TRY 24,000/mt ($608/mt) ex-works for an extended delivery period, as compared to Monday, June 10, against the backdrop of ongoing currency fluctuations. In addition, the mill has also kept its wire rod price for extended delivery periods stable at $610/mt ex-works today. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 32.90 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
