Iskenderun-based Turkish mill hikes its rebar price as week ends

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, October 4, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has hiked its rebar price by TRY 250/mt ($5/mt) to TRY 26,500/mt ($645/mt) ex-works, for an extended delivery period, as compared to Tuesday, October 1. The producer has kept its wire rod price stable at $630/mt ex-works, also for an extended delivery period. It has increased its rebar price due to the limited supply in the region. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 34.26 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
