SteelOrbis has been informed that an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has increased its rebar price by another TRY 250/mt to TRY 25,000/mt ($611/mt) ex-works, for an extended delivery period, following Kardemir's rebar sales at $600/mt ex-works yesterday. The mill's rebar price has indicated minor changes on US dollar basis. The producer has kept its wire rod price stable at $600/mt ex-works, also for an extended delivery period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 34.12 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
