SteelOrbis has been informed that today, September 11, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has increased its rebar price by another TRY 100/mt to TRY 24,350/mt ($597/mt) ex-works, for an extended delivery period, amid the relatively positive sentiment in the ex-Europe import scrap segment. The mill's rebar price has indicated an increase of $3/mt on US dollar basis compared to the previous day. The producer has kept its wire rod price stable at $590/mt ex-works, also for an extended delivery period, over the same period. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 34.01 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
