Over the past week, most Turkish mills have kept their official wire rod prices stable in the Thrace and Izmir regions, while their prices have fallen by $5-10/mt in the rest of the country, against the backdrop of sluggish demand. Moreover, one Iskenderun-based mill has cut its wire rod price by $10/mt to $610/mt ex-works for an extended delivery period. Additional discounts are available only for serious buyers and cash payment.

According to sources, the workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $590-610/mt ex-works,  stable week on week depending on the region.
